I am so grateful that I have learned to live a life of Praise and Worship. I was raised in the Foster Care system in Milwaukee, WI for most of my childhood; an event meant for evil however it was for my good. So many of my memories of early childhood are contributions to my knowledge of how important forgiveness is in one's life.
I am fortunate to have developed my own personal relationship with God at a tender age. In the day when families ate together, prayed together and loved together, I asked God during our family prayer to "Save" me. In my child like thinking, I expected God to knock me out under the dining room table and just Save me right then. That did not happen and I was so disappointed. I was asked at dinner why I was so sad and with tears running down my face I replied that I had asked God to save me and he didn't hear me. I was told to eat my dinner, he did hear my request. When I went to bed that night, I reminded God that I wanted to be "Saved". The next sound I heard was my own voice being awakened out of my sleep, speaking directly to God in an unknown tongue. I was eight years of age and I am grateful and appreciate my foster parents, the Late Pastor Isaiah and Ruthie Mae Owens for bringing me up in the fear and admonition of a Great God.
The years have afforded many events in my life for I am blessed to have three children that I adore and keep even now before the throne of grace as my grandchildren are in their care.
I am Passionate about my life as a Worshipper. I will "Make HIs Praise Glorious".
